Can you believe we’re already half way through the school year?  It seems like yesterday, the kids were venturing out on their first day of school.  For seniors, this is their last year of high school.  They’ve spent the last 4 years preparing for what’s in store after graduation.  Many relationships and memories have been made.  Generally, senior classes like to give back to their school as a way to show pride and appreciation.  What better way to show gratitude to your school than to provide future students and faculty products that are attractive, functional and durable.  The precast concrete products we offer work very well in school environments; elementary, middle school, high school and universities.  In speaking with school representatives, we’ve heard concerns about longevity and ease of use.  All of our products come standard with our acrylic sealer.  Another sealer option is our “nano technology barrier coating”.  Both sealers provide an easy to clean surface.  The nano option is non-sacrificial, protecting your furnishings from graffiti and other staining factors.  This makes it easier to clean and maintain while lasting many years.  Other features we provide are anti-skate bumps, anti-vagrancy options, and epoxy coated rebar.  (For more information on these options, contact our sales team)

Examples of precast concrete site amenities that have been placed at schools are: picnic tables, benches, waste and recycling receptacles, table tennis and signs.  Our diverse product line offers a multitude of uses on school campuses.  Many schools place several pieces of concrete furniture together to create an aesthetically pleasing look that maximizes functionality.  For example, schools have taken several picnic tables and placed them end to end to offer a large group seating area for students.  When combined with trash and/or recycling receptacles, you have a very functional lunch area.  Another school implemented an outdoor classroom area by using our radius bench (Model #404R203), placing them end to end to form a ¾ circle.  We’ve designed our product line to complement each other and have the ability to be used in an endless amount of configurations.
